Linking your class to a [Non-US] Khan Academy Partnership
If your school or district is part of the International Khan Academy partnership, to access the features available in the program, you'll need to connect your teacher account and classes to your school/district. For a detailed guide on how to accomplish this, please follow the steps below.
First, some groundwork...
If you haven't already, you’ll need to create your teacher account in Khan Academy. If you need help with that, please follow the steps in this article.
Once your account is properly set, to create a class, click on the Add a class button:
Then, you can set up a class name manually or import your classes from Google Classroom:
Next, you can add your students to the class, or you can skip this step and proceed later.
Your students can join classes in many ways:
- Rostered through third-party tools like Google Classroom or Clever Library.
- Accounts created manually by the teacher. This can be especially helpful for setting up younger students.
- Invited through a class join link or a class code.
Choose the methods that work best for you and your students!
In the following step, you can also choose a list of courses to add to the class, or skip this step. The courses added to a class can always be modified at a later time.

Assigning the class to the Khan Academy Districts partnership
After your class has been created, to allow access to the features, you’ll need to assign your class to the partnership.
To do this, first connect your account to your school by opening the Teacher Dashboard > My Classes page and clicking on the Add your school button:
Select your country, state, district, and school:
Note: Each country will have its own fields, so make sure to fill them out properly. If you are uncertain about how to fill those fields, check with your school/district administration internally.
Then, once you have connected your account to the school, you can go ahead and click on the Link partnership link under the desired class:
Select the grade the class belongs to and hit Save:
Note: If your class has no specific grade, like extracurricular activities classes, you can choose the ‘N/A’ option.

If your class was successfully assigned, you should see the school name next to each class:
Inside the class Settings tab, you can also confirm the school and grade the class was assigned to:
