Students doing work in wrong class. Can we combine the classes by two different teachers?

Morning.

Two teachers from same school have students in different classes-Math and ELA-that were set up with different class codes. The students are doing their work sometimes in the correct class and sometimes in the wrong class so we, as teachers, can't see the scores of the students doing work in the "wrong" class.

Is there a way to combine the classes or co-teach so we can see all the scores. The students are just happily working away. How is the work they are doing not connected to the correct class?

Hi Lynda,

I’m afraid we don’t currently offer the ability to add a co-teacher to a class or share a class among multiple teachers and neither to combine nor merge classes together. A class is always tied to the Teacher account that created it, and only that account is able to see scores and manage assignments for the class.

One possible workaround would be asking the teacher who created the class to share their account credentials if the co-teaching occurs for a limited period, such as an extended leave of absence, for example.
