How to Get the Badges in Khan Academy

Here goes.

For Nice Listener, Act 1 Scene 1, and Great Listener, I'm pretty sure you don't need one long video, but if you would prefer to do that, check this out. http://whatbadgenext.appspot.com/longest_videos

For You Can Learn Anything, go to https://www.khanacademy.org/youcanlearnanything and click Join, that's all. (If you're 10, you shouldn't be on here; KA's privacy policy specifies 13+.)

Idk for Flag Duty, Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down.

For Researcher, basically, if you have a question, say for a video on science, you need to post it with a timestamp, eg:

At 5:31, why does the iron react with the water?

For Awesome Listener, see the second sentence.

Consecutive days are days in a row you use Khan Academy.

Practice tasks are exercises; they might be retired, I don't know.

For Patron badges, you have to pay. Sorry.

They release Patron badges a half year early.

Idk.

For Tesla you have to get 10,000,000 (ten million) energy points; for the other two, nobody knows.

Flag Duty, Thumbs-Up and Thumbs-Down were all retired.

When you add a time you're confused on in your question.

How do you add a time?

Everything Amber Phoenix and SP said, but 'Researcher' is retired (it is impossible to get now). Here is a helpful post showing all the badges that were recently retired.

Also, Geek of the week can't be awarded right now for some reason.

Here's what you have to do:

• Nice Listener, Great Listener, Awesome Listener & Act I Scene I - it doesn't necessarily have to be a single video
• You Can Learn Anything - click here
• Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down, Flag Duty & Researcher - they're retired, which means you can't earn them anymore
• Like clockwork & Atomic clockwork - consecutive days is the same thing as a streak
• Geek of the week: practice - in a unit, there are two things: learn & practice, complete 5 of the practices within a week
• 2020 Patron & 2021 Patron - you'll have to donate to get these badges
• Tesla - earn 10M energy points
• Atlas - master 1,000 - 1,500 skills
• Artemis - master 1,500 - 2,000 skills

Hey, @Amber Pheonix and vedbat10 the link doesn't work. It just takes me to my dashboard. Is this supposed to happen? I don't see a 'Join' button.

That's not supposed to happen. Just type "khanacademy.org/youcanlearnanything" in your browser and you will go to the appropriate page.

For me, it's still the same thing I used the link of Amber Pheonix and vedbat10 but it just takes me to my dashboard.

The "You Can Learn Anything" badge has also been retired.

I'm actually quite sad that KA has retired these badges, but I don't blame them because they are moving to the new Python version as their website language.

I really hope that Khan Academy re-introduces all of the retired badges after the language transfer.

Very hard to earn these badges right .The black hole badge are the hardest

There are 6 known black hole badges.

Tesla, Is Sal, Galileo, Atlas, Artemis, and Herculean.

Is Sal is only achievable by Sal Khan.

Tesla requires 10,000,000 energy points to obtain.

Galileo requires you to have made 3000 videos on Khan Academy, which should only be possible for a Khan Academy team member to do.

The black hole badges Atlas, Artemis and Herculean are all relating to skills.

Herculean seems to be retired and only one known user has ever gotten it. (They gave it to themselves)

Atlas is rumored to be earned by mastering 1000-1500 skills, but that is not entirely true. It may take 1500 skills mastered to achieve or even more, but I have mastered over 1000 skills already and have not earned it yet. It may very well be impossible to earn at this time.

Artemis is a complete mystery. No known user has ever achieved this badge, and the only lead on it is a hint from a long time ago that said it would take 1500 skills mastered to achieve but that the badge was updated when more skills were added to khan academy. Now nobody has a clue how many skills mastered it would take to achieve, or whether it is possible at all.
