Is anyone else bumping into the rate limit for posting, even though posting fewer than 100 times/day?
Do you get the message "Too many posts of this type in a short amount of time." even though you have made fewer than 100 posts in the last 24 hours? If so, please comment here. I am hoping that if several people report it is happening to them too, KA staff might be able to find a pattern in what is causing the problem - and the more people who report is, the more urgent & important fixing the problem may seem.
I have gotten that "too many posts" message at least 6 days this month already, and that restriction-from-posting lasts from a couple hours to over half a day.
I make fewer than 100 posts per day (across Comments, Answers, Questions, Tips & Thanks, Help Requests) along with fewer than 100 flags.

My understanding is that the restriction happens because of a spam filter that is supposed to trip if someone makes more than a certain number of posts in 24 hours, but that the number is much higher than the number of posts I have been making. (I think the restriction is supposed to lift once the rolling count of posts in the most recent 24 hours is below the limit again.)
