I would like to assign code names to my students so I can display progress to the class, but keep it confidential.
I want each student to see where they are compared to their classmates...for example:
I would like Johnny to see that they have logged the most amount of time/mastered the most skills.
When you make the account you can use their student ID numbers or some other non-identifiable name as their username. This will allow you to display the info to the class but keep it confidential. Then in your teacher account you can edit their "display name" to be the actual student name, of even their last names which makes grading easier. I hope that helps. Hello Jonathan! Khan academy is not set up for users to share their progress with other users unless they are coaches or parents. This might be a great motivational piece to use in classrooms so I think I'll add it to the wishlist being compiled for the Khan Academy developers.
