In addition to Evan's comment, I’d like to clarify that, although your child might be using your email address as their parent, their Khan Academy account is not associated with it as you do not share the same login information.

Please note that the emails, usernames, and passwords (for example) are different between your account and your child's.

Also, you cannot log in to your child’s account by clicking their name on the Parent Dashboard.

In order for your child to log into their own Khan Academy account, you must log off (or sign out) of yours and have your child log in using a combination of their own username and password. Once your child has logged in to their account and starts working there, all of their activity will be registered there as intended.

I’ve recorded this handy video where you can view the steps of logging off from the parent account and then logging in to a child’s account.
