I posted an assignment after a student had done that task but he is not getting credit. I can see from his profile he did it but it isn't showing as a result/completed on my assignment since he did it BEFORE I assigned it.
Is there a way to import his scores or fix it? He was a student in the class when he did the assignment. Thanks!

The assignment scores page will only show exercise scores for attempts completed after the assignment was given to the student. This is intentional, because it allows the same content item to be assigned multiple times (such as for content in multiple courses, content assigned by a previous teacher, etc.)
If the student completed the exercise before you assigned it, then their score will not show up on the Scores tab, and there's not a way to import previous scores. You can, however, view their previous score using the individual student activity report.
If you want to remove the assignment from the student's assignment list, you will need to edit the assignment and uncheck the box next to their name in the students dropdown. Be careful not to uncheck any other students. This will remove the assignment from their assignments list without requiring them to re-do it.
