I'm sorry to hear you're having these issues! There may be a few different reasons as to why you're seeing this strange behavior.

Questions are only marked as correct if you answer the question correctly on the first attempt. So, if the first answer you enter is incorrect, and then you enter the correct answer on the second try, the question will still be marked as incorrect in your assignment report.

Additionally, if you use a hint before entering an answer, the question will automatically be marked as incorrect. This is due to the fact that the hints will eventually show the correct answer to the question.

That being said, you're always able to attempt the practice exercises and assignments an unlimited number of times to earn a better score. The highest score earned across all attempts at the exercise is what will be shown to your teacher on their assignment report. Your teacher, however, may have their own policies as to how many times you can do an assignment, so you may want to check with them first.

In regards to seeing the second question in an exercise set, this is likely due to you having started the exercise set at another time. Whenever you leave a practice exercise, you will automatically start where you left off previously the next time you come back to it. So, it's possible that you may have started the exercise set a while ago, and as a result you're skipping to the second question since that is where you previously left off. In this case, you can always do the practice set a second time to earn a better score if you had previously missed the first question.
