Students who create two accounts by mistake – Khan Academy Help Center

I sent my students the Khan Academy link to join and also the class code:

however, several of them, mistakenly, created their own separate account by typing leaving the /join off of the khanacademy.org.

Should I resend the link again with the class code?

In addition to Evan's comment, I'd like to recommend some of our Help Center articles, too, including:
I highly recommend our course, Khan for Educators, too. This is a dedicated course for teachers getting started at Khan Academy. It’s composed of seven lessons that explore everything from getting started to classroom implementation and diving deep into Khan Academy’s teacher reports.

And if your students continue to have difficulties joining your class, you can always submit a support ticket so that our team can assist you further!

Hi Patricia,

If they've already created an account and are able to log in, then the best solution is to have them join your class using the class code. To do this, they need to go to the Teachers tab on their profile page and then enter your class code. This will add them to your class and any active assignments that you've already created.

If you've also created an account that they're not using, you can remove that account via the Students tab on your Teacher Dashboard to help avoid duplicates and confusion.
