On one of my HTML programs, you can predict which page of an actual book the audio book is on. You enter in all the information provided, click "Locate Page". Normally, an alert would pop up, telling you which page you're on.... It doesn't pop up!
Another program calculates speed, and alerts how it came up with the answer.... It doesn't!

The alert() function is working just fine on my end when used in an HTML project. Make sure you're using the function correctly within a <script> tag and that your browser is not blocking popups from any of Khan Academy's domains.
