Algebraic problem reducer
6y/11 x 2/5x should resolve to 12x/55x, but that is not one of the possible solutions. The possioble solutions are ...
A. 6y + 5x = 22
B. 22y/5x
C. 5y/22x
D. 22y/55x
What is my problem with understanding this?
Hi Michael,
Can you provide a link to the exercise set that this problem is located in? I'd like to take a look at the original problem with math formatting to verify whether or not the correct answer is listed in the answer choices.
Thanks!
That is the problem, I do not believe that the correct answer is in that answer set.
My answer was 12y/55x.
I think the (d) answer was miss-printed.
I agree, but I can't fix the issue without being able to access the exercise set that this problem is in. Do you have a link to the exercise set? Or do you remember which unit and topic the exercise is in?
