Update: Explore courses more easily with the updated course menu!

Hi everyone! Alex from the Community Support team here. We’ve made it easier to browse and find courses on Khan Academy with an updated Explore menu.

You’ll now see:

Courses grouped by subject (like Economics, Science, and Computing)
Mastery progress next to any course you’ve started
"New" indicators for recently added or updated content

What's the impact?
Not only does this new menu make it easier to pick up where you left off or explore something new, but we've also made updates that improves Khan Academy's performance and stability!

How to use the Explore menu

Select Explore at the top of any Khan Academy page
Choose a subject area (like Pre-K to 8th grade math or Science).
Browse and select your course.
- If you’ve already started learning on a mastery-enabled course, your mastery percentage will appear next to the course name.

Woah, just realized that the explore menu looked different. Definitely a departure from tradition, and we will need time to adjust to it. I wouldn't say the old one was bad, but it was a bit cluttered with all the courses in one place. The only thing is that now it takes three clicks to get to a course, but maybe I'm just trying to find something to complain about XD

Thank you. It looks great! It does take one more click, but it's a lot easier to find the course on which you want to click.

Hi Alex,

Is the content getting displayed according to the geography from which I'm logging in? I'm logging in from India and instead of seeing Algebra 1, Algebra 2, High School geometry etc. the content getting displayed is based on the Indian boards (NCERT, State boards). Is there anyway to see the content on generic lines instead of by Indian boards?

If Rana's issue might be related to the fact that their account is linked to India, it seems more helpful to more users to link in someone from the relevant part of Khan Academy staff, so that the answer can be shared with other Learners from India. If Rana's issue is only answered in a ticket, then no one else will know the answer besides Rana.

For the time being I’ve managed a work – around (Went back and searched for the topics which I was learning and found those) but definitely not the best solution.
And finding topics of interest has definitely become harder.
