Is there a way I can download or save all the content from the MCAT prep course before it retires on September 30, 2021?

I completely understand how important the MCAT course is to you and how painful our decision to retire it feels to our community of learners. The MCAT course was deeply appreciated by our community and employees alike, but at the end of the day, we had to make some challenging decisions about which parts of the site to continue to invest in and maintain.

We have decided to extend the availability of our MCAT content through September 2021 to provide more time for learners to explore alternative resources. While we wish we could continue to offer MCAT lessons, we are a small nonprofit with limited resources, so we will not able to update or improve our MCAT content, and it will be available as-is.

This means that you will be able to continue to access Khan Academy’s MCAT course via this direct link, or on our YouTube channel until then.

Where is this retirement date announced? I remember that a bunch of courses were removed/retired on July 15, 2020, and I thought that this was one of them. I can't find the original article or even the section where it was posted. Has this course's lifespan been extended? I see that someone else just asked about Health and Medicine, another one that was supposedly going away on July 15. Is that one still around, too? Any others?

1. Where is this retirement date announced? We have announced the retirement of the MCAT course here.
2. I remember that a bunch of courses were removed/retired on July 15, 2020, and I thought that this was one of them. That is true, those courses were retired and MCAT was one of them, indeed. However, our learners needed more time to find a long-term solution for the retirement of this course. We decided to keep the MCAT content available up to September 2021, and we hope that our learners can explore alternative resources until then.
3. I can't find the original article or even the section where it was posted. Has this course's lifespan been extended? In the same article that I have shared previously, you will find the announcement of the extended period for the MCAT course. It is at the very end of it.
4. I see that someone else just asked about Health and Medicine, another one that was supposedly going away on July 15. Is that one still around, too? Any others? I'm afraid that only the MCAT course will be available until September 2021. The other courses listed in the article I shared above have been retired already. Our learners are still able to find them in Khan Academy - they will be visible for at least a few more months.

To make sure I understand correctly: after September 2021 the videos for MCAT will be removed as they won't be on your youtube channel for any further viewing? Or will the MCAT links still be available after 9/2021, just not updated?

What kind of funding is needed (yearly or quarterly) in order to keep the MCAT resources and classes on Khan Academy? 

Will the MCAT videos on YouTube still be available?

Is there any update on the collaboration between AAMC and Khan Academy and the MCAT course?
