How can I change my icon and background?

I DO NOT KNOW HOW

On KhanAcadamy's Zendesk site go up to your name and click it, look for edit my profile, and click Avatar.

On KhanAcadamy's other site up on the top it should say your username, click it then click profile, after that in the top left your profile picture will be there click on it and edit it to your liking with what is available.

go to profile and click on your charecter and then choose one befor you hit save go to background setting and click on that warning you have to earn most of your backgrounds and charecters and then save.

well, at the home page of the khan academy. The top left you can see you own character, and click it. you will see the picture of you character. at the right bottom. you can see the background.( i am sure you know what you going to do next)

i cant ever see my buttons on the character and background part. the buttons are really low and i didnt know how to do it

I found out how to do it! Apparently, you have to do it on a computer or laptop. I hope this gets fixed soon cuz it's causing a lot of confusion!

It works on pc I know that. but what about the blue bar at the top

How do I change my background? it said I had unlocked colors but I don't know how to equip them.

Judah Jore same here. It said I unlocked Photon One and Photon Two but doesn't give me a way to equip them.

Hey guys.

Go to your avatars (click on your avatar on the top left), then on the bottom right of the page that appears is “background.” Select whichever you want then hit save.

it wont  save i just want starky charater but it wont save  not cool if i could i would it a 1 star rating and starky is unloced and when select him it dosnt work im sad now

Click on your character and look down you see the background choose one and save.

Hey guys! See, I think I know why so many people are having trouble changing their background. You have to kind of hover over the bottom right corner of the area to be able to see the button. Sometimes, with dark backgrounds, you can't see it.

i can't see that its just white i can change my avatar but not background help.

@logan.162117 Same here I don't like it personally. I unlocked cosmos and I had it for one day until it all just turned white. Sal please make it so its back to normal.

ik that though but why is ther so much white could they have at least put a color there like the KA theme or something just not white. im not saying that they should take them away i really wish they didn't take them away what was the point of having to earn 1mil points if your just going to take it away like just make it 300k points or something not so high for a background. its just making us waste are time for a background thats just to much. pls bring back background or have an option to have our own backgrounds or like animated background where they move. but have us get like 500k points to unlock it. am i right?

zachary that may be true but why would they do that just because of that ik it was just a guess and you may be right but still if so why would they do that its just dumb.
