The Problem With Short Excercises
Everyone likes a short quiz, I get it. This is fine, except for when those short quizzes are interfering with student's grades. Having four question long quizzes seems nice, but often results in students having to redo multiple times to get closer to a desired grade. It doesn't seem to be a good Idea to have a system where you can bomb your grade by 25% just by getting one question wrong. I know we like to have as little work as possible, but a short quiz that must be done three times because of one error takes just as long as a single ten minute one that has a more fair grade on the first try.
