National Fall LearnStorm Challenge: Enroll to Qualify for Prizes!

Hello Teachers!

The National Fall LearnStorm Challenge has been kicked off and runs until November 30th 2022. By offering the chance to earn prizes and compete against other classes in their school and across the United States, the free LearnStorm Challenge offers another way to motivate your students to meet their goals on the updated LearnStorm tracker.  

Follow the two steps below to enroll:

  1. Log in to your teacher account — make a free account if you need one!
  2. Click the blue "Enroll" button at the top of your dashboard (pictured below). Please note that this Challenge is available for US-based teachers only. 

Below are this year's prizes: 

  • Throughout the challenge - Share a video of your class celebrating their LearnStorm progress for a chance to win one of 50 Ember Mugs ($200 value) 
    • This can be shared on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok by tagging @khanacademy with the hashtag #learnstorm
    • You can also send us your video in an email response by replying to a LearnStorm Challenge email with your celebration video.
  • At sign up - Growth Mindset class pack and leaderboard downloads
  • Level 5 - 5 soccer balls will be donated on behalf of your class to students in need through our friends at UNICEF
  • Level 10 - 1,000 pencils for a whole school will be donated on behalf of your class to students in need through our friends at UNICEF
  • Level 15 - 5 backpacks will be donated on behalf of your class to students in need through our friends at UNICEF
  • Level 20 - Notebooks for 50 students will be donated on behalf of your class to students in need through our friends at UNICEF
  • Level 25 - Backpacks, notebooks, and pens for 50 students will be donated on behalf of your class to students in need through our friends at UNICEF
  • Level 50 - You are entered into a t-shirt giveaway to receive an exclusive LearnStorm shirt
  • Grand prize - If your class earns the highest number of rings, you’ll receive $500 to spend as you please at the upcoming Khan Academy Merch Shop!

Please note: 

  • You can choose to clear all rings and start a new challenge for your class, but if this is done before the Challenge ends on November 30, 2022, any rings achieved after August 20th, 2022 will be erased and will not be counted towards the prizes.  
  • Another National Challenge will be run in the Spring and signups will begin March 2023.
