How can we help?

Update: The reimagined Khan Academy Classroom experience

Updated

Note: The reimagined experience launch is planned for June 29, 2026.

Khan Academy has been reimagined for teachers and their students

While this transition is primarily designed for teachers and students learning in classrooms, some independent learners may also notice the change if their account:

  • Has the teacher role enabled, or
  • Is enrolled in a class

If your account meets either of these criteria, you may see a different homepage and updated navigation when you sign in.

Why are we doing this?

The reimagined Khan Academy experience is designed to help teachers and their students achieve more through:

  • A redesigned classroom experience for teachers
  • Clearer student progress and performance insights
  • Simplified content assignment and classroom management
  • A more streamlined learning experience
  • Personalized learning paths and recommendations
  • Easier access to assigned work and learning progress
  • New motivational features that help learners build consistent learning habits
  • Improved accessibility for all learners

We hope that these updates help create a more focused and guided experience while maintaining access to Khan Academy's trusted content.

I’m in the new classroom experience even though I use Khan Academy as an independent learner
