How can we help?

How do I edit or delete my students' Unit Missions?

Updated

In the reimagined Khan Academy, Mastery-based practice is organized through Unit Missions rather than Course Mastery Goals. Unit Missions show student progress to teachers in smaller chunks, making it easier to spot specific gaps and see exactly where students need support.

In this article, we will go over how to edit and delete Unit Missions.
Editing Unit Missions

First up, let's go over how to view and edit the Unit Mission you have already assigned. To do this, please follow the steps below:

  • Step 1: Log in to your Khan Academy teacher account
  • Step 2: Select a class, then click Assignments
  • Step 3 Select a Unit Mission, then click the three little dots in front of the Unit Mission you want to edit, and click Edit
  • Step 4: A new pop-up window will appear, and you'll have the ability to edit the student list and the due date. Click Save.

Deleting Unit Missions
