How do I change my avatar?

To change your avatar, you need to be on the Learner home (the homepage for Learners!). If your default home page is Parent or Teacher Dashboard, follow this link to find instructions for opening your Learner home.

Once you are on this page, click the avatar in the upper left. This will open the avatar selection window.

Navigate the selection window by clicking the circles on either side of the current avatar, or click the All avatars button at the top left, and use the scrollbar. The currently selected avatar will show up with a gray background. Click Save to keep the avatar. If you do not see the Save button, try scrolling down or zooming out from your web page.

If you're a desktop device user who happens to be searching for the Save button in the Avatar selection window and can't seem to find it, don’t worry! You might come across something that looks a bit like the image below:

If this situation applies to you, try zooming out on your browser window until the Save and Cancel buttons appear. Depending on your device, here’s how to do this easily:

• On Windows and Chromebook devices, press the "Ctrl" key and the "-" key at the same time.
• On Mac, press the "Command" and "-" keys simultaneously to zoom out by one level.

The avatar you select will now be shown in your bio!
