setting up my child's account

When I log out and log in again it automatically logs into my account with no option to log into a different account.

I can't have my son log into his account.

If you haven't already, I suggest starting with our Parent Quick Start Guide. This will walk you through getting your account set up and creating your child's account.

There's not a way to assign courses via the Parent tools---you will need to use the Teacher tools if you would like to do this. To do this, you will need to go to your Account Settings and enable the "Teacher" role. Then, you should be able to access the Teacher Dashboard and create a class for your child to join. You can then assign an entire course by creating a Course Mastery Goal.

It sounds like you're using the Google sign-in method? If that is the case, you must clear your browser cookies after signing out in order to use a different Google account to log in. You can also use separate browser profiles or an incognito window to sign in with a different Google account.
