I downloaded the Khan Academy App for my iPad. When I sign in as a parent, it shows up as if I am the student. Where do I find my children's accounts in the app? I would like each kid to be able to work on different devices at the same time. My children's accounts do show up on my MacBook when I sign in.

Unfortunately, the mobile app does not have the parent functionality that exists on the desktop version of the site. However, your children can still log into the iPad app using their own username/password like they would on the desktop site. You won't be able to view their progress using the iPad app, but if you log into your account on the desktop site you can view their progress from the Parent Dashboard.

Hi Evan, I have this same problem and can't figure it out.
I have 5 kids at home, all different levels. New to homeschooling, trying to keep the education going in these times via ipad (using my laptop not an option because I am using for work).
Am I the "teacher" or "parent"?
Ideally, I'd love to set up each with unique login so they can do their own work/level. And I can assign the courses based on their level (adjust to make easier/harder, also expand to do multiple subjects).
I just can't figure out how to do this.

The big difference between Teachers and Parents on the site is that Teachers have the ability to assign content and view classroom reports. If you're wanting to assign content, you'll want to use the teacher functionality from the Teacher Dashboard.
If you haven't created their accounts yet, I suggest doing so from the Parent Dashboard first. This will allow you to be able to view and manage their account settings. To create their accounts, click the "Add a child" button and then follow the prompts.
Once you've got their accounts created, they can then log into the mobile app using the username and password you created for them.
To assign specific content to them, you will need to create a class from the Teacher Dashboard and add their accounts to the class. Once you've got the class created, you can then create assignments for them.
