Onboarding and Implementation Guide for Enterprise Starter Administrators

Congratulations on purchasing Khan Academy Districts (KAD) Enterprise Starter plan! 

This article is designed for administrators as they get their school(s) set up to make the most out of their KAD purchase. 

Before following the final in-product onboarding, we strongly recommend you follow the below steps: 

  1. Decide your goals for using Khan Academy District Enterprise Starter 
    • How many students do you want using Khan Academy? In which classes do you want to implement Khan Academy? This will help determine the number of seats to purchase and how to set up your roster
    • Read through the District Success playbook and fill out the Implementation Planning Worksheet 
    • Consider how you will train and engage your teachers year round

  1. Invite the administrators and teachers who are part of the implementation plan
    • This guide will walk you through inviting each user type and helping them get set up on the platform 

  1. Share your goal expectations with teachers, students and parents
  1. Make sure your network and devices are prepped for Khan Academy Districts

Once you have your goals and implementation plan set, you are ready to finish the in-product onboarding steps!

  1. Confirm your school year 
  2. Invite the administrators and teachers who are part of the implementation plan
