4th Grade: Order Equiv Fractions & Comparing Fractions. Order the Concepts should be in.

I see what you are talking about but the way we organize our setup is based upon a worldwide estimate of users who have more success on different parts. For example, there are certain things that you have to know before you can go into cross multiplication and mixed numbers, you have to know how to subtract fractions. And also keep in mind that this is an order of concept solely suggested by you and based upon your learning and capabilities, I sure that you already know a good amount of the orders of fractions but keep in mind that the set up is starting with equivalent fractions and comparing fractions then adding and subtracting fractions then multiply fractions.

Hope you see my reasoning and think you for your suggestions, and also please feel free to expound. 

I think what it is, is it jumps a bit too quick into changing the Fractions from improper to mixed and turning them into fractions with the Same Denominators, so in the 4th Grade Unit: Equivalent fractions and comparing fractions, because there's not much there it made me jump a bit too ahead and then i got stuck there and that's why i kept looping back to Common Denominators.

I think first we need to know What are Common Denominators and Why are they important? (that's it no changing the fractions), then onto Adding & Subtracting Fractions with The Same Denominators, the other stuff yeh that's in good order so i can refer to it being underneath, but move Simplifying Fractions under Add & Subtracting with the Same Denominators. So i think it just needs breaking up a little bit more

The Stuff for Comparing and Ordering Fractions that stuff i think would be better under all Adding & Subtracting Mixed Fractions with The Same Denominators because you have to Change them to The Same Denominator, Multiply and find The Least Common Multiple so you have to learn that stuff above it first before you can do it, that tripped me up lol. Before that, i think put Multiplying Fractions. I only figured it out because i just learned that stuff at a random order cos i was jumping around the place lol and then looked over it to see what would be the best order to put them in, in my Notes.

Not at all trying to say how anybody should or shouldn't learn i just feel the stuff there is jumping a bit too ahead and not quite in the right order with how it connects to each other i had a bit of a hard time figuring what connects to which.
