activate comments on lessons

Hi Norman,

In order to activate discussions for your child, you will need to make sure that their birthdate is set correctly in their account settings. There are instructions for doing this here: https://support.khanacademy.org/hc/en-us/articles/204795250-How-can-I-edit-my-child-s-settings

If they are 13 or older, then the discussions will automatically become active on their account as long as they meet the following requirements:

• A verified email is linked to the account
• They have at least 5,000 energy points

If they are not yet 13 years old, then unfortunately there is not a way to activate discussions for them. This is due to our Privacy Policy and US privacy regulations. More information on these restrictions can be found here.
