I recently made it through the waitlist for Khanmigo and now have it enabled on my account. I created my classes and invited students, but they are not able to see or use Khanmigo. The whole reason I wanted this feature was so they could have an amazing virtual tutor to help them with assignments, but now it is nowhere to be found. If anyone can provide information on how to troubleshoot this or enable it correctly, I'd really appreciate it!

Khanmigo is still in its early release phase, so it is not yet available for entire classrooms outside of our few pilot schools.
If you were added from the waitlist, you'll be able to access all of the Khanmigo features on your teacher account, but you will not yet be able to enable access for your students.

Thank you for sharing this additional feedback! I completely understand how frustrating that is and have shared your feedback with our Khanmigo team. They are taking a look at updating the Khan Labs page to clarify that teachers accepted from the waitlist are not yet able to enable access for their students' accounts.
There are still lots of useful features designed exclusively for teachers that you should have access to, so I encourage you to try those out if you haven't already. That being said, if you do not want to continue participating in the beta testing group (and I completely understand if that's the case!), could you please submit a support ticket so that we can make sure your recurring donation is canceled properly?

I would like to echo the same sentiment. The email I received from Khan Academy stated: "Once you’ve donated, your seat will be activated and you will be able to add your children to test Khanmigo if you’d like."
I paid the donation fee, and now it's no longer available to students. With the pandemic learning losses and educational gaps, my students desperately need Khanmigo.
Interesting. I also am seeing an email that says I can go to Khan Labs tab in settings to enable for students "under 18". Khanmigo also gave a similar answer (quoted from Khanmigo below):
Hello there, super teacher! 🍎 To enable Khanmigo for your students, you'll need to follow a few simple steps:
Remember, this process is for students under 18. If they're over 18, they'll need to sign up for Khanmigo on their own.

I realized as I read this ticket, I think you are meaning this to be "children you are the legal guardian for" instead of "children who you are teaching, but for whom you are not the legal parental guardian".
Thank you for sharing that, chisolmmc! I've forwarded this to our Khanmigo team so we can give it some training on this question.
Your interpretation is correct---you can enable Khanmigo access for your own children (those that you are a legal guardian of and that are linked to you via a child/parent account connection). At this time, you cannot enable access for students linked to you via a student/teacher account connection, regardless of how old they are.
Okay, thank you for the clarification, Evan Lewis. I do think there are a few ways that seem to signal to us teachers the Khan Labs team intends for Khanmigo to be enabled for students in our classes. The email and Khanmigo response I mentioned above are two ways.
Here is another. This is an activity that Khanmigo says will summarize student chat history for the classes I teach. I completely understand the Khan Labs team is wanting to be intentional and careful about the rollout of Khanmigo, so I completely understand. I think it would be helpful to be more clear that the intent is for *parents/guardians* to give access to the children they have guardianship of.

As a teacher/coach do students currently in our classes have access to Khanmigo?
This is a huge selling point, and if it's not actually in already in place and functioning as it seems to be from the literature, then I won't be in such a rush to try it out.
Correct. Unless something has changed, we are supporting right now for them to develop it. Supporters who help financially are helping them make progress on this feature, but it is not something we actually have access to provide our students at the moment.
