Tutor and Tuttee: Possible to Login to Same Account Simultaneously??

I didn't believe that this would work but I opened the same assignment into two different tabs and it gave the same problems, so it is very likely that this could totally work. I suggest you two to go try it out!

If it doesn't (but I am fully confident that it will) then you can try to do something like sharing screen on zoom or meet in person (I have no clue how you communicate with your tutor normally).

Partial exercise progress is saved to your account, so the same question should be shown across multiple browser sessions. This should technically work as long as only one of you submits the answers and the other person reloads the page after each question has been answered.

However, it should be noted that this could cause some weird behavior in the Activity Log on the account that tracks time spent practicing, so that is something to consider if you rely on this data.

The official recommendation here is to use the teacher functionality to assign the exercise you are working on to the student. You could then use the Assignment Scores Report (which is live) to review each question after it has been answered by the student. You could also join the class yourself (by entering the class code on the Teachers tab on your profile) and complete the assignment with the student. As long as you pick the "Same questions per student" option when creating the assignment, you will both see the same questions when doing the exercise.

Thank you for your suggestions. I have a solution and the problem is solved. The solution is as I first surmised: Create login (e.g. gmail) and KA "throwaway" accounts where teacher and student share the same login and password information.

My teacher is in Croatia and I am in the Dominican Republic. We have no problem simultaneously logging in, selecting a problem set and working through the same problems at the same time. Also useful, is that when I need a lesson, I can tell him what to look at in advance of the lesson. The fact that we are logging in with different IP addresses is not an issue. Thanks again.
