cant zoom out to save avatar

I would suggest changing your avatar on a computer.

Yes and also once you use a computer, you may also have to zoom out by clicking those three dots at the top right corner of your screen. Below the x sign. Then you should see where it says zoom and the percentage, put it to 80% and you should be able to save.
