Grammar Lessons
I'm trying Khan Academy out as a supplement for teaching grammar to 7th graders. I noticed one thing I'd like to see improved. Instead of writing everything into a jumble on the board.. Treat it like an erasable board and erase when the information becomes crowded. Some of my very capable students will follow without cleaner visuals, but when the examples of say a dependent and independent clause or a phrase and a clause are up in the corners on a jam packed board, I think it gets in the way of instruction.
