so i am really confused about how with composite functions like this one the 10x seems to come out of no where. if i were to do this normall id get x^2 - 25 -12/ x^2 - 25+4, but supposedly there is supposed to be a 10x somewhere? please help!Không tìm thấy nội dung mà bạn muốn tìm?

Hi there! It seems you're not multiplying binomials right (you're not using the FOIL method correctly). If you haven't learned about that yet, you can watch a video about it here: https://www.khanacademy.org/math/algebra/introduction-to-polynomial-expressions/multiplying-binomials-2/v/multiplying-binomials
In the picture below, I used the FOIL method with this specific problem.
