Changes to the course projects are automatically saved every time you make a change, so your work should have been saved if you wrote the code on the course project page.

Have you tried checking the Spin-offs tab under the Make It Rain project? Your project should be listed under the "Your Spin-offs" section.

Additionally, you can access all of your projects on the projects page on your profile.
