How do I restart my courses?

To prevent accidental loss of course progress, Khan Academy does not currently have a feature to restart courses.

Although badges will not transfer, one workaround is to create a new account attached to your current one. You can also freely restart courses from the beginning, though you won't be able to mark any previously completed content as incomplete.

Why would there not be a way to restart a course or certain areas of a course? Stupidest thing I've seen. Now, because of a technology mishap (wrong account by wrong student), student has to start the whole course over (complete bullcrap) and disregard all the time and work that went into the course instead of being able to reset what was done by another student. Do you have any idea what it's like to do a course then have someone say sorry I know you done all that work and done good but now that the year is almost over restart the course, no can't move on until this course is done. Does great for a kids self esteem..thanks Kahn....
