I just found out that the music theory course is being suspended next month. It was a great course and I was hoping that there will be new courses soon but, ALAS!!
I would love to see something new on the lines of music theory and composing and playing different instruments which starts from the very basic and covers most techniques and classical pieces.
If anyone agrees please lets bring this to the support teams notice

As we grow and expand, we continue to add new content to offer a better education on Khan Academy. However, adding new music related courses is not a part of our roadmap at this time.
While we wish we could implement all of our users' requests, we need to make difficult decisions about which features and requests are aligned with our goals at the time.
As our needs and resources change, it’s possible that we may be able to revisit this issue at a later date, but I can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to do so, or provide a timeline for when that might happen.
I know that this probably isn’t the response you were looking for, but I hope you understand where we’re coming from.
We really appreciate your enthusiasm for Khan Academy, as well as your sharing your feedback with us.

And I greatly appreciate my request being considered. I know there isn't a guarantee so I won't hold my breath. But anytime in future if there is something that is on the lines of music consider me there.
