I was given a code by my teacher to put into khanacademy but he did not specify how to. Could someone help me out.

Hi Adrian,

To enter a class code go to https://www.khanacademy.org/profile/me/coaches, and enter your code in the box under "Join a class". Once you enter that code you'll be enrolled in your teacher's class.
