Update: Android 2.4 release (language settings)

Is there a way to change the khan academy kids to a different language? I want my child to use the app in French.

Just so everyone realizes it, the original post is from 2 years ago, which could be any time from February 20, 2016, through February 19, 2017. (Grrr, I hate the non-specific time-stamping used here!)

I just checked my current Android app, which is v5.2.5 (854). Currently, at least two years after the original post, the only additional language added is English (India).

I commend Khan Academy for having posted in this Support Community what the major change in the Android 4.2 release was. 99% of the time, we get no release notes here for the apps, and all we see in both the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android) is, "Bug fixes and performance enhancements." And then we get hit with a new "surprise", like not being able to see the original problem when using the iPad app sketch/scratch pad (introduced July 2018, not fixed until Sept. 2018). Or we remember what bugs existed before and seek to see if they have been fixed yet (like the one I just mentioned, which was not fixed in the next iPad release), most of the time to be disappointed that it wasn't.

FYI that with the 6.0 mobile releases, Indonesian was added; and with 6.1, German and Polish. And more are planned for future releases!

Khan Academy Kids is only available in English, however the parent guides are available in other languages if you want to use the app for kids to learn English.
