if it is possible to speed it up faster, then how?

I know I can do it inside the youtube website using a chrome extension, but then I lose track of my progress like scoring "energy points" and getting check marks that I have watched such and such khan academy video.

I've tried a few different chrome extensions, and again, they work inside the youtube website, but not on for videos on the khan academy website platform, so no record keeping of my video viewing is kept for monitoring progress.

the use case for my question, is when you already know the content quite well, but want to be thorough in your brushing up on the old material that Sal explains before moving on to more advanced topics.

I should say, I am using a Windows based HP laptop

update: I'm not sure what change I made (maybe just closing and reopening the browser), but it works now

another update: while I can now speed up faster than 2X speeds inside the khan academy website platform, I don't get the feedback of lots of energy points or the check mark that I completed watching the video in full.

Why do you need it even faster? 2x should be plenty fast. If you’re trying to farm energy points, I don’t think you can earn more energy points from repeatedly watching the same video. And even if you could, just watch Spider’s Romance; it’s less than half a minute long on 2x speed.

sarabsingh86 I can understand this issue. Often when I am just casually browsing YouTube I place videos on 2x speed, just because it's more entertaining. In videos when the creators talk very slowly and you are in a time crunch, it can be helpful to have it move quickly. (I sometimes find it easier to read the transcript while listening to the video). I understand your problem, but agreeing with...

StuffStash's point, it doesn't really overall seem that necessary. I also have the belief that if you watch a video on double speed, you should earn 1/2 the energy points.
