Project randomly disappearing without any warning or message

This project had 106 votes and was 3rd on the hotlist when it vanished without any message being left behind: khanacademy.org/computer-programming/ai-savage-chatbot-2/5302490059358208. It was also removed from my profile

I was wondering if this mistake, and if not, why did it get hidden?

They almost certainly just hid it without sending a message. That's happened to me before. I don't know why they hid it though.
