Last summer, I used several textbooks and a couple tutors to help study for the Secondary Mathematics Praxis. I took the test and obtained 150 of the needed 160 points. This summer I used Khan Academy only and scored a 173! I have also been using this resource to enhance my Algebra classes and to petition for more technology available to students. Thank you so much for this outstanding resource!
I just wanted to let Khan Academy know what an absolutely invaluable resource they are! I have struggled and struggled in math my whole life, often getting frustrated not only with myself but with the way many math instructors "teach" math and make those of us who struggle with it feel inferior. The way the instructors at Khan Academy teach math is unlike anything I have ever had the pleasure of learning! Not only do they explain it well but they also go the extra mile to add visualization when they can to explain a concept even further! I'm very much a visual learner and having instructors who are willing to do this is just amazing! For the first time in my 34 years I don't feel "stupid" when it comes to math and have some confidence in myself that perhaps I can learn! Thank you again Khan Academy please keep up the awesome work!
