It's because you're not part of a class. You can join a class using a class code.

That solved part of the problem.

What about the claims that mastery challenges and percentages on exercises disappeared? I still see those features.

And what about the reactions that the community had to this 'change'? Many users openly announced that their donations would stop and that they would leave KA!

Mastery challenges? I only have the unit test and course challenge.

I think the changes to mastery challenges and percentages on exercises may also have only happened to those forced into KA Reimagined by being in a class.

Months ago, course mastery was based on mastery points. Here's what it is now, as seen on a photo taken on Classic Khan in Sept 23:

I don't understand.  You posted a single screenshot of Classic Khan Academy.
Was that to show what changed for those in Khan Academy Reimagined?  If so, wouldn't we need to compare it to a screenshot from Khan Academy Reimagined?

Or what are you showing?

This actually happened while I was still using Classic Khan. It's not just for those in Reimagined!

I'm still completely confused.

You wrote "the only thing that changed in the summer was the overall mastery percentage."  Is your screenshot an attempt to show that the overall mastery percentage is different than it was before summer?  How does it show that?

If that's not what you're trying to show, please be specific as to what you're showing is different, such as "In Khan Academy before this summer, <this thing> looked <this way>.  Now in Classic Khan it looks <this other way>.  Here is the current screenshot.  If I had taken a screenshot in May, <this part> would have been different <in this way>."

As far as your question "What about the claims that mastery challenges and percentages on exercises disappeared? I still see those features."  Why would you expect that if you see something in Classic Khan that means it's there in Khan Academy Reimagined?  Or have you tried Khan Academy Reimagined and you're sure you saw those features while you were in Khan Academy Reimagined?
