Black Hole badges

Good night

I want to get BHBs so hard but I have a couple problems. First off, there are only 4 attainable BHBs. Those are:

Tesla: 10,000,000 Energy Points (I have about 2,010,000)

Maelstrom: Attain Proficiency in 4950 Skills (I have about 1466)

Atlas: Attain Mastery in 5000 Skills (I have about 1350)

Herculean: Attain Proficiency in all 7270±50 Skills (I have about 1466)

This gives me relative percentages of 20.1%, 29.6%, 27%, and 20.2%. Closest to Maelstrom but still not that close.

Can I get these badges? Oh yeah. Will it take a while? Very yes. Do I have that kind of time? Not really. I moderate a Discord Server and a Subreddit, I am the lead developer for two games, and I do YouTube. Not to mention I'm still in school.

I'm currently a Junior in High School. After I finish my Senior year I'll be going to college and likely will disappear from KA for many years, if not forever. So if I don't do it now, it might not be at all.

My real achievement however is mastering all of the Math courses, which I'm about 75% done with (at least according to Mastery Percentage or whatever), so I hope to at least finish that.

That's really impressive, I thought there were only users with Old Atlas, new Atlas ones I heard about, but I don't really know since the profile is private.

Interesting story: I once found a profile with every BHB except Is Sal (Maelstrom didn't exist at the time), but due to lack of Energy Points they clearly hacked them in lol.

O.o Apparently there is or was a profile with 1 million EP but also has Tesla, see KA wiki (I'm too lazy to copy it XD)

Yeah there's some unusual users like that, if I attain Atlas and other black hole badges I'll be sure to put them into showcase, also I hope analytic team sees my user activity, it isn't cool for me to be seen as a cheater knowing I'm not, everyday I try to practice and learn everything in the site.

I think it's so hilarious that we don't know who's closer to Atlas, like xyzyyxx said, he made mostly skills that can be mastered, I've done only the proficient ones also, so I'm Level 110 but maybe I have less mastered skills than you lol.

This is why we need to show the number of mastered skills.

Oh Aaryan Bhattar, when I said he I was referring to Sal Khan I think

xyzyyxx, apparently some things are done to not motivate competition or frustration, like the old day streak system, or energy point farm.

I think that's why level isn't public displayed, we can infer where the user is by the badges, but not exactly.

Like just privately, the number of mastered skills doesn't have to be public. It's useful if you want to know where you are with respect to, say, Hypatia or Atlas

Yeah that would be pretty cool, so at least u could prove If u wanted to, just like levels, for example I can show a print screen of my Level Bar, but there isn't a Mastery Bar..

Hmm now I'm thinking like.. it would be hella cool if there's something like a two bar level, like those we see in fighting games like, when a boss in a videogame have a multiple life bars one above other.

Maybe the bar could be like lilac, and purple above, inside the light lilac bar progress.

W example.

I see the message popping up in my gmail but its not showing here.

Sorry to necropost, but:

Congrats, dude! That's a huge achievement.

Congrats! I achieved Level 111 and still not got Atlas, I don't know what happened lol.

I thought I would get that one first, really surprised to be honest, maybe there's something to be 'cause I'm a Brazilian user? I thinking if Portuguese skills doesn't count.

Olamoth Artyom Tetrakleitos You probably completed a lot of skills that you can only attain Proficiency in compared to Mastery.

Supersonic Seven is probably right, likely due to unmastered proficient skills

I didn't know that earlier lol 😂

Also level 111 is huge, I haven't even gotten level 101 yet XD

Well now who gotta have 3 Black Holes? Me xyzyyxx or Kevin, I'm very curious, never saw any user public user with 3.

xyzyyxx could actually do it with just Tesla at this point, which isn't too hard to attain. If he did it would be crazy.

Sal probably XD

But for real, Tesla will likely be my third BHB. It requires 10 million, and I'm at ... 6,565,248.

Olamoth Artyom Tetrakleitos I've seen a couple users with more than 2 Black Hole Badges but they definitely hacked them in.

That's right, he can farm energy points by seeing a lot of videos, but for me, I don't know what happens first lol.

xyzyyxx I'm stuck at Level 54 😭

Sal probably has more, I think full showcase even. But his user isn't public anymore
