"Waiting for code to run" error

I was working my way through the intro to JS course today and I had just clicked on the Moles in Holes challenge when I got this error. The instructions for the challenge refuse to show up and instead I get the message "waiting for code to run". It doesn't matter now long I wait, the code never actually runs. The coding environment below does run but not the instructions. I went back and tried a few earlier challenges I had already completed and discovered that all of the challenges are now giving me the same error seemingly out of the blue. Strangely enough though the projects do not give the same error and they work fine.

I'm using Firefox but I also tried Chrome and got the same issue. I restarted my computer too and it still persists. I even tried logging out of my account to view the challenge pages but they're still broken either way. I can't wrap my head around why this started happening all of a sudden but it's a pity because I had just started learning JS here and now I'm going to have to go elsewhere unless this bug is fixed. Seems like I'm not the only one who has reported this error too. There are posts going back 4 years with people making the same complaint and none of them have ever been resolved.

I'd be happy to give more information if needed. This is pretty frustrating and I'd like to see this bug fixed soon.
