linking assignments to google classroom

Just copy the links from the exercises on KA that you want your students to do to your GC.

Find the assignment or video you intend to assign. Under the heading or video, there will be Four choices:

Yes, but when  you assign in Google Classroom they don't show up in Khan Academy as assignments. So we have no way to know if they watched the video or completed the practice!

I have found the same results as you.

It's been far too frustrating and time consuming to try to do easily so I've all but given up. 

I am in the same boat. I have linked my google classroom to kahn but when I assign students videos/exercises/quiz they wont show up in google classroom.

I feel I am doing something wrong. I am teaching summer school, so I need to assign quite a bit of assignments per day. My way of doing it currently, is to post the assignments on Google Classroom which basically tells them to go to the kahn website and log in. After logging in the have assignments do to but not a direct link to the assignments from google classroom.

I dont want to start the new Fall semester doing it the same way. Any help out there??

I am having the same problem.  I am first assigning the activity on Kahn. Then going through the Google Classroom link.  It allows me to make the full assignment, but the page doesn't show up for each students.

Unfortunately it is not currently possible to have Khan Academy assignments automatically transfer to your Google Classroom. You will need to assign the content on Khan Academy, and then manually assign the content on Google Classroom as well.

To do this, click the assignment's name on the Manage Assignments page in your class. This will open the assignment in the course view. From here, you should see a Google Classroom button towards the top of the page. This will open an assignment editor in Google Classroom that allows you to assign the content to Google Classroom.

Important: If you wish to be able to view your students' scores and completion statuses for the assigned content, you must also assign the content in your Khan Academy class. You should also note that the assignment scores will not automatically transfer from Khan Academy to the Google Classroom assignment. Students must also be logged into their Khan Academy account when completing the assignment in order for their scores to appear in your KA class.
