Why were unit progress bars removed?

The progress bars you're referring to were removed with the recent Streaks & Levels update. However, there is now a new progress bar representing your overall level in a course. I believe the old progress bars were removed to prevent confusion---keeping both would have meant there were two progress bars representing two different things on the same page.

The new levels feature was designed to help motivate students to master new skills in a course by providing smaller, more manageable milestones. You can learn more about Streaks and Course Levels here.

Additionally, you can still see the number of mastery points you have in a unit, and the total number of mastery points available in the unit, by hovering over the info icon next to your unit mastery percentage.

Hmm well I'm usually always working towards finishing a course/unit rather than the more abstract leveling system, so I don't think it would have been more confusing to me. Anyways, I'm NOT complaining, just wanted to leave my thoughts. Thanks again!
