Fractional exponents in radical form: 'n-root' symbol request

I had exactly the same issue, I opened a zendesk ticket to update the help page and was redirected here to discuss it further (ticket was closed as "solved", uhh no...)

It's a totally reasonable confusion, because all the other symbols use boxes or variables to represent editable fields. Mixed metaphor! Additionally, the zendesk help page regarding math symbol entry doesn't even mention the radical form (which is what I opened my ticket about).

So, Khan team: please fix the cube root radical button to properly reflect its generic nature, please update the zendesk help page to include notes on the radical format, and please link to said help page from the symbol entry box. Thanks!

I tried doing a regular search on "enter answers with radical greater than 4," but that only gave results on how to simplify radicals. I second the motion for modification in the tools for clarity. Thank you to the staff for your work, past and future.

I'm having the same problem as well and can't find a work around. Is there a "cheat sheet" on how to enter these? It's driving me crazy and holding me up.

Hey folks, the secret (if I recall correctly) is to use a cube-root and then edit the '3' to the desired root.

Oh for crying out loud... This is how to do that? Been a pain in my neck all morning.
