Hello. My student was right in the middle of the previous Pre-Algebra course when the course was updated. Is it possible for her to finish the old course instead of jumping into the new one? It is very confusing to know where to start and the previous scope and sequence was really working for her! Please help!

Khan Academy periodically adds new content to our platform and we've recently updated the Pre-Algebra course. Every year around July we make large updates to our content to keep it fresh and up-to-date, which often impacts mastery percentages in the updated courses. These changes are typically announced ahead of time in the Support Community.
This means that your course and unit mastery goals might have changed, as well as the number of skills attained in each unit or course.
When we add new content to a course and remove old content from it, Mastery percentages often change because the number of available skills changes. For example, if you mastered 90 out of 100 skills in a course, and we added 10 new skills, your mastery skill count would then be 90 out of 110. This change would change your Mastery percentage from 90% to 82%, even though mastery points weren’t lost.

Unfortunately I'm afraid that there's not a way to access the old version of the Pre-Algebra course now that the updated version has been published. I know this is frustrating, but the course update provides new and improved content that should ultimately make learning the material easier and ensure that she has a solid understanding and mastery of the content.
I recommend having her jump back to the beginning of the course and work through all of the new content that has been added. All of the previous content will still be marked as completed, so she can skip over everything that she has already mastered and focus on filling in the gaps where new content was added.
