Current Students in Old Teacher Classes

How can we help?

Hello-

I have some current summer school students (9th and 10th graders) and they are still enrolled in a class from middle school. How can they leave the class without contacting the teacher? I could try to find her email, but I am not sure if she is still in our district (>400 teachers.). At least could I make my class as the default? The assignments from the old class pop up and the students have to switch back to the current class.

Hi Sandi,

Your students should be able to log in to their account and remove their past teacher from their account by clicking on "Teachers" tab on the side menu and then clicking the remove button next to the teacher's name.

We are having a similar issue but my student/child no longer has access to their KA account and therefore can not remove the previous teacher. I have access to my student's/ child's progress on my parent dashboard but can't change her email.

Hi Alisha,

Could you please submit a support ticket for this issue? Doing so will allow the support team to potentially be able to help remove the previous teacher from your child's account.
