Dear Khan Staff: Video content about Khan Academy on YouTube?

Dear Khan staff/media team, [Normal community member scroll to 'Dear community']

So far as I know, recording of a free content website with commentary is OK according to copyright law; however I'm not a professional-- so if the Khan team could make things simple by giving direct permission, that would be excellent.

Of course, I don't expect permission without giving some examples of what sorts of content are to be made.

Critique (Which I already know is OK since it falls under fair use)
Analytical (Of the community and how it may evolve)
Educational (Teaching about social structure, etc...)
Entertainment (General content about something that may be simply fun to talk about.)

With Khan Academy being an educational site, most (if not all) content will have some educational value, mostly regarding social studies, with the Educational-type videos simply having that as the focus, rather than a prominent side-effect.

I can see such a thing as a YouTube channel dedicated to khan's community doing these things for your benefit:

Bringing more users to Khan
Evolving Khan to be more community-oriented (Being part of a community is very important in the development of a person.)
Allowing easier interaction with your community through me (I'll filter through the suggestions and only push through the best ones)
Potential lessons to be added to Khan Academy itself

Hopefully, I can form a close partnership with Khan Academy that can help you work with the community more directly.
The channel will start small, most likely; Though, an official endorsement from khan would accelerate the process if you see fit.
If needed, I'll allow Khan to directly look through the script of each video that is to be released so you may suggest changes.

I'll work as closely with you as you will with me.

- How to use Khan Academy materials for your own project
These should cover most of your concerns, but if you have any others, you can always refer to our Terms of Service for additional guidelines. It is worth noting that we receive frequent requests similar to yours asking about material use, across a variety of project types, from all around the world and, as a nonprofit providing free resources to a large global audience, we simply don't have the team resources to review all of these for compliance and give a definitive answer. As such, this request actually isn't as simple as it may seem on our end.

The team considers that the person making the request has the responsibility to ensure that their project complies with our terms of service and, if they think that their project's needs do not align with our terms, we usually suggest looking for a different source that does.

Just one question, with this in mind:

DO NOT: Use Khan Academy trademarks in the naming or promotion of an app or other services, nor may organizations combine their brands with Khan Academy to create a new brand (e.g., "Khan EduCo Academy"). Instead use the following language: "Viewer for Khan Academy". This makes it clear that the offering is not from nor supported by Khan Academy.

I'm assuming that naming the channel itself (which is a brand) 'The Khanomally' (aka: Khan-anomaly) out of the question-- however if I simply used 'The Khanomaly' as the name/title of a video/video series about khan, rather than as the name of my brand, would that be OK?

(It would be a shame if it's disallowed, I thought the potential name to be a good communication of what the video would be about (your anomalous programming community here on Khan Academy))

Also, I understand, regardless of what I name this project, I'd need to put a disclaimer saying I'm not affiliated with Khan Academy, correct?
