MIssing Khan Academy App in Amazon App Store

I have recently purchased an amazon fire hd 8 tablet for my kindergartener to use for khan academy instead of my personal computer. However, I am disappointed that the Academy Kids is available on amazon but not the actual kindergarten work that he does under his profile on www.khanacademy.com
I setup exclusive access to the khan website on his amazon tablet and it does not accept the login.
This tablet is the best kids tablet for parental controls and I am shocked the app is not found in the amazon app store. Am I missing something?

You are correct---the Khan Academy Kids app is available in the Amazon app store, but the regular Khan Academy mobile app is only currently available for Android and IOS.

Unfortunately, the only direct way to access Khan Academy from an Amazon device is through an internet browser. He should be able to log in using the same username and password that he would use on your computer. If the login is not working, you can try resetting the password. If you continue to experience login issues, please submit a support ticket so we can further investigate the issue.

There is actually a way to install the Android version of the Khan Academy app on a Kindle, but it a little complex and requires some technical knowledge. If you're interested, there's a good walkthrough here.

Dear Evan,

It would be very helpful you provide a link to the Android APK for the Khan Academy App on your site. A link from Khan Academy itself would put more trust on the file than having to visit external sites to get it.
