It looks like you've edited the code to change .15 to int(.15). The value .15 is already a float, so we don't want or need to convert that to a different type here.

In this step of the challenge, you should take a very close look at lines 1, 4, and 5 in the program. In Python, when you collect user input using the input() function, the resulting type will always be a string. So in lines 4 and 5, base_price is a string type.

Can we subtract and multiply strings? How would you convert this string value to a different type that can be subtracted and multiplied?
