I am inquiring if there is a way for a lifetime learner such as myself to reset the account without deleting it or creating a new account under a different user. I would really like to refresh my skills by repeating over again the courses from scratch without losing contact with those met along the way.

Khan Academy currently offers no way to delete progress once it’s registered on the account, and this is actually intended to avoid scenarios in which users could lose actual progress due to misuse or malfunction of any kind.
Now, if you'd really like to start from scratch, you can always create a new account. Just note that badges, points, and your streak would not transfer from one account to another since there’s no way to merge accounts or share progress between them.
If you prefer to keep your old account as it is, there’s another more laborious method for losing mastery: getting answers deliberately wrong. This is not recommended since it will not be a true reflection of your learning path. Besides, it might take a long time if you have mastered many skills.

I am in a similar boat, Ralph. One thing I have found useful is the mastery challenges and course challenges. They allow you to test/review an entire course worth of content in one test (in the case of the course challenge) or just the skills you have already mastered (in the case of the mastery challenges). I wish I could just do the mastery challenges over and over to review old topics and level up new ones....those course challenges are just so LONG

Yes, I feel the same way...I really enjoy the ability to just take a few minutes out of the day and review a topic. Like a small segment of the population, we just enjoy refining our skills and testing ones we have not visited for a while. I can't explain why, but it is really relaxing. ;-) I eventually just started a new account, minus the accolades...
