How to Make Failing a Question Less Frustrating

Hello Dongzhonggames I understand that failing a question can be stressful, but failing a question is supposed to motivate you to understand it better and try it again. Getting set back 2 questions would be much more frustrating to some people, and I feel like the motivational words that appear after failing a question are already very motivational.

Hi! I'd suggest something different: failing a question could bring a popup (maybe Khanmigo could step in for Khanmigo-enabled users) that says some growth mindset words of encouragement:

"Failing is another word for growing. And you keep going. This is learning." Or "Making mistakes and correcting them is the path to mastery." or something similar.

KA is aligning a LOT more with learning science these days, and I think this is pretty consistent with the evidence on motivation and feedback?

So I'd love to see these and other such growth minded prompts in many other places—e.g. end-of-test card (if you get 100%, maybe "Great effort! But to keep up the mastery, test your skills a little later, or try a Mastery Challenge.")
